The Washtenaw County Road Commission projects in the vicinity of the school campus are slated to significantly alter local traffic patterns over the summer. Notably, the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Whittaker and Willis is expected to have a substantial impact on those individuals visiting campus.  

Road closures will begin June 3, prior to the last day of school on June 7. The project is expected to take approximately 12 weeks to complete prior to the start of the 2024-25 school year. The decision to start the project prior to the end of the school year was made to ensure that any delays will not impact the start of the school year when we have more students on campus and many new families becoming familiar with the campus.

Motorists are advised to prepare for detours and potential delays as they navigate around the construction zones. The new roundabout aims to improve traffic flow and safety in the area, but it will require adjustments to daily travel routes, especially for those accessing the school campus.

Lincoln Consolidated Schools K-12 students require a completed Request for K-12 Transportation Form for each in-district student utilizing school bus transportation to reserve her/his seat on the bus.
