Several Lincoln Consolidated School District students recently had the exciting opportunity to participate in the filming of a public service announcement right here on our campus!
The commercial, titled “No Rushing,” features former Detroit Lions player Lomas Brown and was produced on behalf of the Michigan Association for Pupil Transportation (MAPT). The PSA focuses on a critical student safety message: drivers must stop when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended while students are loading or unloading.
This important project was made possible through the coordination efforts of Lincoln Consolidated Schools Transportation Director Jason Fredenburg, working in partnership with MAPT Executive Director Katrina Morris.
We are proud that our students were able to play a role in helping spread awareness about school bus safety throughout Michigan. Every day, students rely on motorists to follow the law and exercise caution around school buses.
🚦 When the red lights are flashing, there is no passing.
Together, we can help keep our students safe on their way to and from school.

Some of our LHS DECA members spent the day at the State Leadership Summit at MSU! These future leaders participated in hands-on workshops, networked with peers from across Michigan, and continued building a strong foundation for their future careers.
Led by Mrs. Barnier, our DECA chapter is growing — and we’re still accepting new members!
Proud of our Railsplitters for representing Lincoln with excellence! 🔵⚪️ #LincolnForward #LHSProud #DECA #FutureLeaders

✅ If you have an absentee ballot, you have until tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. to complete and return your ballot. We recommend taking them directly to your polling place or an absentee ballot drop box!
✅ If you plan to vote in person, polls will be open tomorrow on Tuesday, November 4 from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
If the CTE millage is approved by voters, students in preschool, elementary, middle and high school would benefit from new programs and expansion of existing programs.
If you still need to learn more about the CTE proposal, visit www.washtenawisd.org/ctemillage.
