Happy first snowfall, Lincoln Community! ❄️
As we return to school on Monday, please remember to dress your students warmly for the bus stop and for outdoor recess. Hats, gloves, boots, and coats will help keep everyone comfortable and ready to learn. Stay safe and enjoy the snow! ⛄️

This morning, Lincoln Schools is experiencing power outages throughout the campus, and several buildings currently have limited power. DTE is on site evaluating the situation. We will provide an update as soon as we have more information.
Thank you for your patience.

As we head into the holiday weekend, please remember there will be NO SCHOOL November 26–28.
Classes will resume on Monday, December 1st.
We hope all of our Lincoln families enjoy a safe, restful, and joy-filled Thanksgiving Break. 🦃✨
Take this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy special moments with family and friends.
Happy Thanksgiving, Railsplitters! 💙🤍

Some of our LHS DECA members spent the day at the State Leadership Summit at MSU! These future leaders participated in hands-on workshops, networked with peers from across Michigan, and continued building a strong foundation for their future careers.
Led by Mrs. Barnier, our DECA chapter is growing — and we’re still accepting new members!
Proud of our Railsplitters for representing Lincoln with excellence! 🔵⚪️ #LincolnForward #LHSProud #DECA #FutureLeaders

✅ If you have an absentee ballot, you have until tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. to complete and return your ballot. We recommend taking them directly to your polling place or an absentee ballot drop box!
✅ If you plan to vote in person, polls will be open tomorrow on Tuesday, November 4 from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
If the CTE millage is approved by voters, students in preschool, elementary, middle and high school would benefit from new programs and expansion of existing programs.
If you still need to learn more about the CTE proposal, visit www.washtenawisd.org/ctemillage.

National School Bus Safety Week: October 20–24, 2025
To recognize National School Bus Safety Week, our Transportation Department will conduct rear door evacuation drills on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 (weather permitting - reschedule dates: October 23 or 24).
These drills will take place before students are dropped off at school, so buses may arrive a few minutes later than usual. Schools have been notified, and late arrivals will be excused.
Please remind your child that this is a practice drill to help everyone stay safe in an emergency.
⚠️ Safety Reminder: Since the start of the school year on August 25, we’ve had over 5,000 red light violations involving drivers running school bus stop arms.
Please do your part — when the red lights are flashing, there is No Passing - STOP.
