MiMTSS School Behavior

Lincoln Consolidated Schools has once again been recognized by the Michigan Department of Education’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MiMTSS) Technical Assistance Center for its strong commitment to supporting the academic and behavioral success of all students.

During the 2024–2025 school year, Lincoln earned two prestigious recognitions that reflect the district’s dedication to continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and positive outcomes for students:

MTSS Data Utilization Award

Lincoln Consolidated Schools received the MTSS Data Utilization Award for effectively collecting and using the District Capacity Assessment to guide systemwide improvement efforts. In addition, several Lincoln schools were honored for their fidelity in collecting and applying MTSS data to strengthen behavioral supports:

  • Bishop Elementary School – Behavior

  • Brick Elementary School – Behavior

  • Childs Elementary School – Behavior

  • Lincoln Middle School – Behavior

  • Lincoln Senior High School – Behavior

MTSS Implementation and Impact Award

Lincoln Consolidated Schools was also recognized at the Bronze level for districtwide implementation and impact of MTSS. This honor acknowledges the district’s success in using tiered systems of support to improve student behavior and outcomes.
Individual school awards include:

  • Bishop Elementary School – Tier 1 Behavior: Bronze, Tier 2 Behavior: Bronze

  • Brick Elementary School – Tier 1 Behavior: Bronze

  • Childs Elementary School – Tier 1 Behavior: Silver

  • Lincoln Middle School – Tier 1 Behavior: Silver

  • Lincoln Senior High School – Tier 1 Behavior: Silver

Michigan’s MTSS Recognition process highlights the outstanding work of educators across the state who implement systems of support designed to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Lincoln’s recognition reflects the district’s ongoing efforts to ensure every student has access to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
