Bringing students from throughout Southeastern Michigan together with colleges and organizations that provide special resources for students with learning challenges.

Financial Aid Workshop 

Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 9 am - noon @ Washtenaw County Learning Resource Center

The workshop will consist of:

1.     a presentation on best practices for getting your child in the college of their choice and obtaining significant funding

2.    a writing workshop describing the effective content to be included in an essay

3.    a panel discussion with financial aid counselors from University of Michigan, Concordia College, and Eastern Michigan University. 

A Q & A session will follow each presentation.

The workshop is free of charge and open to all students and their parents, especially those who are beginning to explore their college options.

FAFSA Filing Event

Thursday, November 7 from 6 - 8 pm @ LHS West End Media Center

Join us at LHS to get help filing your Financial Aid application for you 12th grade student.  You will get the most out of this event if you bring your 2018 tax information and social security numbers for your 12th grade student and each parent.  We will have LHS counselors and financial aid representatives from EMU and U of M here to help.  Regardless of where your son/daughter plans to attend college, you will be able to get help completing your FAFSA.
