On August 25, 2011, the Superintendent was notified that Lincoln High School had been identified by the State of Michigan as a Persistently Low Achieving (PLA) school. Placement on this list requires that we develop and implement a school improvement plan to address areas of concern. We are enthusiastic about this challenge, and optimistic about the opportunity we have been given to transform Lincoln High School into a premier learning community. We look forward to a productive and successful year.  On September 29, 2011, the administration hosted a Community Forum to provide an update on the PLA status.  This FAQ document includes questions voiced at that forum.
